Kirby grew up in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. After his High School graduation (C’s get degrees) and a gap year he went to a one year bible school in Augusta, Montana called Montana Wilderness School of the Bible (MWSB). He then came back home and enrolled at the University of Sioux Falls (USF) where he pursued a degree in Communications and Speech/Theatre - It was at USF where he met his wife. After a couple of years in school he enlisted in the Army Reserves. Shortly after his training and his wife’s (then fiancee) graduation, they got married and moved to Minnesota. Transferring schools didn’t go as well as he had hoped and shortly after enrollment he was deployed to the desert for Operation Iraqi Freedom. It was during his deployment that he answered God’s call on his life to pursue Full Time Church ministry. After coming home, Kirby finished his Bachelor’s degree in youth and family ministry.

Kirby and his wife have 2 children; and have served Churches in Minnesota, Wyoming and South Dakota. He holds a Master of Divinity degree from Wesley Seminary at Indiana Wesleyan University (IWU) in Marion, IN and is an ordained minister in the Wesleyan Church.

Kirby started at Living Hope Wesleyan Church in the summer of 2018.

Kirby’s Personal Mission Statement:

“To mobilize the Church to reach the disenfranchised and religiously hurt individuals of my local community with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.”
