I wanted to share the e-mail below that I recieved from my friend Reverend Gary Mack, which is really a big Miracle Moment in his life and ministry. This has been a vision birthed many years ago in his spirit and it is always exciting to see these things come to pass that have been spoken. On May 20, 2011, I will be headed to South Africa on a mission trip with "Children's Emergency Relief International (CERI)." This is the first ministry outreach by our church, "Grace for the Nations," as we partner with CERI to touch lives for Christ.

Our team of volunteers will have the opportunity to minister to a community of approximately 43,000 residents in the Township of Mpophomeni. Eighty percent of the residents in Mpophomeni are unemployed and fifty percent are infected with HIV. We will serve the people by helping to build sustainable trench gardens that are able to feed five or more people every day; working in a family care center; conducting Bible studies, games, music, and activities with children and youth; and working in hospice care for AIDS patients, administering medications and sharing the Gospel.

This mission trip will be led by CERI Executive Director Dr. Dearing Garner and we will land back in the U.S. on May 31st.
